For some time now, I’ve turned to cooking and developing playful, comforting recipes as a form of stress relief. Recently, I discovered a way to beautifully merge that passion with my artwork. This painting features an original recipe I created: Lemon & Herb Whipped Feta Tartelettes—a celebration of fresh flavors, vibrant color, and joyful indulgence.
Measuring 16 x 20 inches, this piece was created using the traditional alla prima (wet-on-wet) technique, allowing each brushstroke to remain expressive and immediate. Thick, richly layered paint brings depth and dimension to the composition, highlighting the lively colors and varied textures of the ingredients.
