"Lavender Light" is an original 11x14" oil painting by Bre Kort. Painted on a high-quality canvas board which makes framing a sinch! As a Lexington native, the Keeneland spring meet is what I look forward to all year! It's my goal to emulate the spring lighting; and to accentuate pastel colors found in the crowd. This season, the grass has a beautiful blue tonal quality much different than the fall meet. This piece has beautiful contrast with the striking red chestnut horse against the cool background. This is a favorite piece of mine, I hope you enjoy it as well!
