“Beneath the Bluebells” wood-burning by Bre Kort. This piece was created on a natural basswood round that measures to be 10x13” and 3/4” thick. “Beneath the Bluebells” holds a very special place in my heart as it is the first wood-burned original (not commissioned) I have created in over 5 years. I am greatly inspired by nature and adding elegant touches to create a delicate composition. I work to have the natural elements flow seamlessly to create a dream-like feel that also emphasizes my subject. It is sealed with a UV-resistant varnish that adds a slight gloss to the burning and prevents it from fading. Wall-hanging hardware is pre-installed in the back. This piece also comes with a certificate of authenticity- it will be the only version of this piece I ever create- it is guaranteed never to be re-created.
